oh but shinny does matter. once again, pgr2 is ment to look realistic, F-Zero isnt. and the in game screens are still really good. above anything seen yet.

Edit= actally the in game graphics are not that great. There are better, but i choose pgr2 because its a standard xbox game

You're comparing a half assed multiplatform game (meaning it was made for the PS2 then ported to the Gamecube and XBox) to an XBox exclusive? Try comparing Project Gotham 2 to F-Zero Gx. I think you'll have a far better comparison there. Jesus.

If you you werent illiterate, I said I wanted to compare games that were realistic. but for your mentally handicapped pleasure, heres a screenshot of F-zero gx...

and i changes it because i wanted them all to be realistic, not cartoony or anything... its alot easier to render a cartoon rather than a realistic object.

its hard finding screenshots that do proper justification  for each system.  I had to try getting them all to be "realistic" and atleast decent. just proving my point before you ask waht it is.

well alot of games too look like crap. And Im not sure about you, but I can tell what game is for what system by its screenshots. EX:

Gamecube=Fuzzy jaggies, not as bad as ps2 link(graphics got a 9)
cubey link this is one of the very few "realistic" looking games for the cube. makes you wonder if the cube cant handel photo realistic renderings...

PS2= Jaggy(once again graphics 9) ps2 screeny

and xbox = best, VERY few jaggies or graphical incapabilities xbox screeny

"I just dont think it has a strong future. it just seems to me its pulling a sega dreamcast."

- This is your thesis.

"Sure it will be a classic, but it just wont hold out as long as you would like it to."

- This is your first argument.

-- I see no evidence to support the argument.

--- Given the weak argument, the thesis just fell apart.

well first, i was joking about halo 2, ha, its going to be great though.
second, yes a thesis I will now get more into
third, dont you guys still have your dreamcasts? Ive got 2 of them.

okay so anyway, any of you sega fans? no dont think so, most of you are nintendo fan boys. Dreamcast did the same thing. Strong fan support and lowered prices got it selling with a FEW good games. but what next? the price drop is an obvious sign, if it was selling well, why would the price need to be dropped. simple logic my dear watson. also online for DC was crappy, which I also notice with gamecube. You have to pay for each game you play, instead of having one centralized server, you have many. Bad idea. So basically its gonna fade, but its worth having the few good games.

oh and btw, thankyou to Professional 666 for being a fu(king moron and making me explain myself.

I really do enjoy the intelligence of your responce. But every console will have a great game, xbox is getting fable,Arx Fatalis,Ninja Gaiden,StarCraft: Ghost, and halo 2 and a few more im not gonna list(incase they are just over-hyped), gamecube will get a few(dont feel like listing), and I dunno what the hell ps2 will have. but the point is, at this moment no one single game will blow the other consoles outta the water, except for halo2.
But the gamecube is not doing too well, the market of nintendo fanboys is saturated, the price is now that of 2 games, I just dont think it has a strong future. it just seems to me its pulling a sega dreamcast. Sure it will be a classic, but it just wont hold out as long as you would like it to.

Well who do you trust. Gamespot? they are full of biasedness up the wazoo. I really like how the gamespot reviews and reader reviews differ by 2 points in most cases(for xbox)
Dont look at the site that gives the highest scores out, they are usually wrong.

And the reason I chose IGN for thier review is because of thier honesty and because they are un-biased. so dont flame me!!!

Thats it: Nintendo is down and out as far as I'm concerned for this Christmas. They dropped the price yes, but all of their major games this holiday season have strongly dissapointed - with the exception of Viewtiful Joe.

The biggest dissapointment thus far is Mario Cart: Double Dash on which IGN had this to say:

6.0 Presentation
Very little production value. This is very much Mario Kart 64 recreated. It gets the job done, but doesn't dazzle.

7.0 Graphics
Four-player runs at 60 frames per second -- its sweetest asset. Otherwise, just a really colorful, unique and bright title -- very much what you'd expect for Mario Kart.

6.0 Sound
Decidedly average MIDI tunes that fit the level thems, but do little to intrigue. Sound effects are offered up in effective Dolby Pro Logic II.

8.0 Gameplay
Multiplayer is its greatest achievement. Two-player Grand Prix is very entertaining and four-player versus is still a blast. Battle mode, however, has underdelivered.

7.0 Lasting Appeal
A small, predictable trail of unlockable content, but LAN support and the solid multiplayer make this a worthy one.

7.9 OVERALL

d00d i forgot about that!!! Fable even has its own economic system and weather. Its pretty cool, if u got a box check it out fo shizzy. Yeah, i wanna see whats up with donkey kong, it seems like it may be good. AND morrowind rocks.

20
Oh, just to make it sound like om not bashing i found some cube games which sound cool: Mario party 5(always liked the first few),mario kart. thats all i got for now

21
IF YOU HAVE AN XBOX WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!!?!?!?! Sure gamecube has alot of good games, but Xbox is gonna be getting HUGE games, Crimson skies, Rainbow 6 III, counter-strike, Top-spin, Ninja gaiden, GTA double-pack, Halo 2(04/1/04), morrowind GOTY.
Well hey, thats all I can think off the top of my head.
I dont know much about the good gamecube games comming out, I really just look for online play.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Nintendo online
« on: November 04, 2003, 12:55:39 AM »
im not sure how it is for gamecube, but with xbox live they have it set so that all the games are run threw microsoft servers so that it is more centralized. Is it the same with gamecube? I heard that each company is in charge of online for thier games.

Nintendo Gaming / History repeats itself
« on: November 01, 2003, 06:53:30 PM »
Remember the dreamcast? and remember the saying "history repeats itself"
now put the to together, and add in the factor of gamecube.
I own both the dreamcast and the gamecube(along with other systems) An I am noticing a repeat in trends. The same thing is happening with gamecube that happend with the Dreamcast, Hard core fans bought the system, but after a bit over a year, developers started to pull out.
Now dont say im a troll, and am flaming. I have compared the trends of both sega and nintendo(minus gameboy sales) and found a simular trend in both, although nintendo is a larger corporation then sega, the system isnt pulling in enough money for them to be  a reasonable Idea. I predict the gamecube will be one of nintendos last systems, if not last, and that they will go with hand helds and games. If you dont believe me look into it yourself.
