Baten Kiatos also facinates me. I've been following it ever since its announcement.

Which sites do you follow it then? I've been trying to find it in Western gaming sites, but they don't have prescreens of it, let alone a preview. Now I'm confused of what the game is really all about, story, visuals and gameplay wise. Text dialogue or voiceacting? I like epic stories with spiritual/moral education. But also with romances . Please enlighten me.

The story takes place on an imaginary planet, in which there are 5 continents floating in the clouds, and humans have wings to fly. You play as a young boy named Kalas, who only has one wing, and he is on a quest to find his lost family, and accidentally discovered an evil plan from the empire.

Thats basically all we know about the story and he has amnesia in the begining so you will probably get flash backs or find out bad things about yourself while playing.

Nintendo Gaming / TALES OF SYMPHONIA SOLD GREAT FOR 1ST DAY SALES!!!
« on: August 29, 2003, 02:42:53 PM »
According to the initial sales from Japan, Tales of Symphonia, which launched today in Japan, sold a blazing 204,538 copies!

Namco's expectations were for Tales to sell 500,000 copies worldwide(same expectation with baten kaitos)and it looks like it might sell that much with in a week.

Also Konami has stated that Metal Gear Twin snakes for gamecube is still on track for a november release in north america. The rumor thats says it's being released in 2004 is true and un-true. True for european gamers and untrue for japan and North America.

But back to this video look how cool baten kaitos look and Metal Gear is looking great. I can't wait.

Nintendo Gaming / NINTENDO GAMES = BAD REPLAY VALUE
« on: July 12, 2003, 06:23:24 AM »
Nintendo makes great games if not the best. I loved Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Eternal Darkness, Star fox etc. My only problem is that these games never have a good reason to replay them after you beat them. It would be cool if you can unlock game modes or get super weapons etc. The only game i replayed for gamecube has been eternal darkness and i still didn't beat it the third time yet. My games are collecting dust because i have no more reasons to play them. They were great while they lasted but i have no interest to replay games like zelda because link is in his pajamas, thats not enough for me, why not make a flying boat that can go anywhere in the world or something that will make the second experience through the game just as pleasing as the first.

Nintendo Gaming / Metal Gear GC has a name!
« on: April 25, 2003, 10:31:42 PM »
Did anybody see the hidden message in the metal gear question to ign??

Some Kid Asked this:
Quote

I saw my wishlist and I saw that the name for Metal Gear Solid for the GCN is MGS: Twin Snake. That means you know something, and I want to know what that is!!
-- Mike

Cory responds: Veeeerry interesting discovery. Yes, that could very well mean something. And it could be a very, very cool thing, indeed. Are we allowed to speak of it before E3? I'm afraid not. If we did, certain parties would have our tongues neatly removed and fingertips sanded clean off. In the case of my suction-cupped appendages, this would be very painful for yours truly.

It seems normal right? wrong! go here

and highlight the last question which is the metal gear question. There is a hidden messege at the end.
