TalkBack / RE:New Details on DS Browser
« on: February 17, 2006, 01:54:13 PM »
If Opera really wanted to put flash in and not pay Adobe for it they could use Gnash an open source GPL licensed version of Flash only catch being they'd have to release the DS source code but it would be worth it depending on how much they want.

Okay Nintendo now you have no excuse with releasing this online for not releasing Mother 1+2 for GBA. I mean common you know the market is there and the scripts are done just give it to an intern or something and you can even get away with charging $35 for it.

Fox Interactive Games for all intents and purposes is basically a part of Vivendi Universal considering that they publish and distribute games and Fox Interactive Games is considered to be one of their developers inside VU Games. You can read more here:

Now I think from the screenshots that Gamespot posted it looks just like the xbox game that was released in Japan earlier this year, infact I'm fairly certain it is since the xbox game was by Namco.

I realize that this will probably get me killed however I think that since Nintendo is acting like a 3rd party perhaps they should consider selling themselves to Microsoft (yes I know this will never happen). If you look at the next generation of systems Nintendo & Microsoft's core components are fairly similar (IBM CPU & ATI graphics) so why couldn't Microsoft buy Nintendo and then simply release two systems each designed differently? You could buy the Nintendo model or the Microsoft model each would play the same games but it would allow the people who like Nintendo system designs to get their fix and allow the 'mature' gamers to get their fix. Frankly it wouldn't be that bad either since I think Microsoft would really push Nintendo games and put them online. It would also allow Microsoft to get plenty of leverage in the Japanese market. Although as time goes on Microsoft will need Nintendo less and less since they'll be developing their own relationships and what not. I think that Nintendo needs to realize that out of all the companies that could buy them (EA & Sony) I think Microsoft would be the most likely to not change things on a game creation level too dramatically and not treat the properties horribly.

I think it needs the adapter because it was designed for famicom cartridges because I believe the US carts are 72-pins.

Because you could make CustomizedCharacter55 and then save and transfer it to your PC and then email it to me and then I could transfer it to my memory card thus giving me your cool custom character.

What demo disc?! *faints* Nintendo is giving out a demo disc for free when you buy a new Gamecube, but some stores are selling them for $10 I managed to buy one at my local EB even though they said they didn't have any, heh idiots. So good luck and may the Yoshi be with you.

TalkBack / Triton Labs Announces Stealth Link
« on: May 19, 2003, 03:59:23 PM »
I think it would be interesting that if this was popular enough they could create amazing addons for example, instead of using the GBA to GC cable you could have a wireless one that would use the wireless stealth link. Also another possibility which would be a dream come true and generate some nice income for Triton Labs is wireless internet multiplayer abilities for GBA! Make a bluetooth base which you connect to your PC via USB and then make a program like Gamespy Arcade for it and then you've got wireless, internet based multiplayer gameage! Although this is just me rambling.

TalkBack / Judge Rules in Mad Catz's Favor
« on: March 04, 2003, 01:49:37 PM »
Basically Pelican is screwed, because before hand they used Fire which owns Blaze which made Codebreaker for Pelican. Now that Pelican has lost Blaze because its owned by Fire, Mad Katz can actually make something useful. What I'm wondering about is if they try to go and make the new GS backwards compatible with the old codes if they try then since Datel owns the encryption scheme isn't that very illegal in the US because it would be a DMCA violation and I can very possibly see Datel sueing Mad Katz and Fire and in theory winning although this is just speculation since its not out yet.
