OK I've on this board for awhile, and have been noticing that alot of you don't care for sports games. I mean how old is everybody here. I remember the EA not making Sports games anymore for the Cube post, and alot of people said they don't play sports games. Then on the How much $ have you spent on you GC post, I didn't see any body with not even 1 sports games. I mean it makes me wonder why sometimes Nintendo gets a bad rap. I'm Nintendo for life, and look forward to alot of sports games to release. The games I have outside of sports are:

Top Gun: Combat Zone
Both Resident Evils, sorry folks these are the best games I've ever played
Mortal Kombat
Need for Speed
Both 007's

I guess we all have different tastes, but NO sports games...Come on, unreal!!!

Dude so 10-15 strikeouts a game is realistic? C'mon man, just play the game. Either way it goes when you play the computer they don't strike that much either. The most I've had so far was 4. And about the games being in the "bargain bins", not All-Star Baseball. It's like the Madden of Baseball. Turok you'll maybe see there, but not ASBB2004. And 2003 will probably be on sale now, but that's expcted with any game. Like Madden 2003 will be on sale when 2004 is released, that expected though.

Dude, first of all it will not be $20 in a month. This game is VERY high quality. I have last year's too. This year put's it to shame seriously. The batting is VERY easy just like last year. All you have to do is change the batting style to "EASY", then there are no cursors at all. Makes it more realistic. That's in last years too.

I don't know if they would take out a team or not, but they do have it where you can choose and preview your own staduim, it's real nice. You will have to get a 251 memory card, cause the Franchise takes 240. You can also save in the middle of a game. That's nice too. You know females when they get around, they wanna go where ever ya'll goin' ASAP, so that solves that problem. I hate hitting 2-3 HR with Sweeny then gotta cut it off, cause she's hungry. The in game save eliminates that.

No online play or downloadable rosters, but it does have the Minor league Management, and the rosters are fairly accurate. It doesn't matter though this game is a perfect 10. Believe me. Don't rent it , just by it. It makes last year's look bad, and last year's was very good too. It should be out. I got mine at my local Gamestop store. Check online their www.gamestop.com, to see if your store has any.

It's not one of the best baseball games, not even one of the best sports games, but it's one of the best Games PERIOD. This game....seriously when I go to a Royals game, everything I hear, and experience there is in the Game. This game is the Madden of Baseball games. I mean from the different music when different players come up to bat (hip-hop, latin, country, rock & roll, ect), form the commentary. I was playing yesterday and they started talkin about diff. stadiums with retractable roofs, and I swear they talked about it for like 2 1/2 min. straight. Doesn't sound like alot, but it is. It's really nice teh way they do the commentary. It really real. And of course the graphics and gameplay are unmatched. You guys have to get it, it's a must!!!

Saturday I went to my local GameStop store here in KC, just to see what new games came out. Now I've been a Nintendo fan since day 1, but I'm amazed at all the games I see for it. Some game I didn't even know where out, and I keep up with that stuff, but any I looked at the S-video cable, and saw it was only $10, so I picked it up. Now I heard it made a difference in picture quality from here , and other sources, and the guy at the store said it made a big difference, and I thouht "yeah right", but since it was only $10 I got it any way. Now the Cube already has great graphics. But when I hooked the S-Video up, it looked a 100, no 1000 times better. I have a 32" TV, and the picture is MUCH MUCH more sharper. The lettering is great. I was playing Madden, Live, and I put in Need for Speed......enough said it amazng. I got one of those free DVD's Nintendo had in store for their Holiday games, and the footage on that looked way better than how I originallu had it with no S-video cable, btu I'm pretty sure they used a S-video on that footage. It's worth it people. I can't wait till All-Star Baseball 2004 comes out this week, it going to be tight like a virgin.

Nintendo Gaming / Need help with Top Gun: Combat Zones Code

Yeah dude I'm 23, and it's one of the most underrated games on the Cube. It's very fun. Not too hard, not too easy 36 levels. I beat it already, but it was on EASY. But you get 4 different planes if you  beat the game, but there are like 7-8 total, including a Helicopter. Graphics are pretty good too.

I've been to several sites, and they say use SHPONGLE as a name, and that unlocks all planes/levels. But when I did that nothin' happened. Is there something else I need to do?
