This game will be a day one purchase for me.
I'm still crossing my fingers for a special Zelda edition 3DSXL. I have been wanting to upgrade but I want a special edition piece of hardware. Maybe it'll be all gold with a Trifoce emblazoned on it.
A fellow over on CAG claims to have picked up a Basic Wii U at Target (in Canada) for $150.
If true, then perhaps we can put this thread to rest.
I can see it if the store just opened, and they're doing a $50 instant rebate on a $200 purchase (and they're price matching Walmart).
We will make this game famous.
I would really like a detail explanation of what the problem is.The Arkham series has been staunching single-player focused. If you want this game & don't own one of the other platforms, I don't think you really lose anything by buying the Wii U version unless it's a shoddy port. They just confirmed its a shoddy port.
It's missing a tacked-on multiplayer mode. So what? It's not like the Wii U version of Arkham City with the reportedly malfunctioning motion controls.
I had an original DS phat that scrapped, dented, scratched, and pounded beyond recognition. It was even accidentally ran over with a lawnmower and survived. Hell, it even survived being sprayed with a water hose when my house was damaged by a fire next door. I let it sit in the window for about three or four days to dry before powering it up. It worked like new for the exception of causing GBA games to freeze, but this eventually stopped. Sadly, a burglar broke into my house and stole it before I could put it into more torture tests. I was planning to take the electrical components and shoot it with .22 caliber shorts and then put it back together.
I always think it's weird that people buy games and never play them (as in NEVER), then I noticed I have a sealed copy of Mortal Kombat for XBox 360 on my shelf...that I've had for 2 years.
I also have a sealed GTAIV Collector's Edition that I bought at a closing BlockBuster a couple years ago for $14. I think it's worth about $180 now.
June download, August physical.
