Well, I guess I was exaggerating with the "in Guitar Hero history" part. I've played only Guitar Hero III, so I guess I should say that Even Flow is the easiest song in Guitar Hero III. You can't not beat it.

to be fair, if i'm sleepy when playying that song, all the hammer-ons and pull-offs mesh together in my blurred vision and i end up doing poorly, or failing that song all together.

I can't give my opinion on Even Flow's difficulty because i dont like pearl jam. Thats right, i said it.

THIS IS A SERIOUS THREAD FOR SERIOUS ROCK BAND DISCUSSION!!!

For instance, my microphone no longer works. What the heck? How does the microphone die? I always get a message saying to insert it and I've inserted it into every possible slot and combination and still nothing? My Mario Party 6 still works and it isn't nearly as heavy duty as the Rock Band mic. So disappointing.

On the matter of your mic issues here is a quote on the RB Forums Troubleshooting Thread:

Are you sure that isn't advice for the 360? Do I need to plug in a Gamecube controller? What's a standard controller? The Wiimote? It works. I can use it to flip through the menu and enter certain areas unless that are requires a microphone which then tells me the message that the microphone is not plugged in.

For the past few weeks we seem to be on a steady lag on just a week for getting the new stuff from the HD consoles.

Ten was a week late and this weeks stuff was last weeks new stuff on the HD front plus a few older ones. I'm going to guess that is now the standard pattern. Last weeks new stuff plus 3-6ish from the backlog. So I predict Wii will get this stuff next week. Let's see if I'm right.

When are GH and RB going to pick good country? I thought "On the Road Again" was a good sign of things to come and then BLAM! Brookes & Dune, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley. The new country stuff that GH and RB continue to pump out is so disappointing. Where's Cash? Where's Hank Williams? Where's Waylon Jennings?

Just messin, that was harsh. I used to be able to tolerate Pearl Jam growing up, when my brother would listen to them, but in high school i had a friend/bandmate that thought they were gods gift to music or something. I couldn't stand playing with him because he constantly wanted to cover Pearl Jam or compare other artists to Pearl Jame etc. At band practice i'd try to play their stuff, just to make the dude shut up for a few mins, but i swear.. if he told me my timing was off (by a milisecond..) I woulda ended up punching him in the face and breaking all his Pearl Jam dvds

So...Eventually i got really sick of it and started loathing the band to the point i'd get a migrane if i ever heard their songs again. To this day i can't listen to them without cringing.

The only cringe-worthy part of a Pearl Jam song I can think of is in Jeremy, when Vedder goes off key right at the end, in the "Ooh-ooh" part. *shudder*

Here's the week's DLC update, its the rest of Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy.
“Shackler’s Revenge” is not part of the update because it comes on the RB2 disc.
Also, there are no backlog songs for the Wii this week apparently.
