Slight Forum Reorg.

You should all see a new forum category called NWR Interactive just below the Gaming forums.

With the staff blog added to the mix and the growin popularity of the podcasts, we thought it was about time they were more prominent and organized in the forums.

Therefore, you'll see they are just moved up higher and the legacy Trivia Results forum has become a Podcast discussion forum.  All podcast talkback threads as well as Retroactive discussions and any future podcast features will be discussed there.

As we transition to this new system, some podcast talkback threads could still show up in the Talkback forum.  We will do our best to get those moved right away if it happens.

I don't know if it's just 'cause I'm not used to it, but the new order really doesn't flow for me.  It just seems natural that "General Chat" and the like should follow the Gaming discussion forums.  The "NWR Interactive" thing just doesn't jive with my senses of what order various boards should be in.  Personally I'd prefer it below the General Chat/Funhouse section.

The problem with the old layout was that the Podcast and Talkback threads were becoming more and more important to the site as a whole.  I'm not against a future realignment, but we'll keep it this way for the moment.

Yeah, i'll admit the new re-annoys me sometimes because I can't navigate the forums as quickly, but that is 100% because of the change, not because this is any worse than before.

So yeah, everyone just please work with this for a few months and if there are still similar complaints after everyone gets accustomed to the change, we can talk about it again.

Any word on how far along we are in this conversion process?  The forums have been extremely slow the past couple days, sometimes taking upwards of a minute or more for a link to load a new page.

Hmm...I thought I saw a topic around here about the forums being reorganized under Nintendoworldreport.com, and that there would be a bit of a rough transition.  I guess I saw the wrong topic.
