Nintendo Gaming / N3DS XL Issue

So trying to get the back panel off my N3DSXL and...I'm having an issue. I unscrew the screws as much as I can. You are then supposed to hook the Stylus (or just your fingers) in the little slots on the side and it is supposed to come off.

It isn't.

I pull as hard as I can, nothing. I tried sliding a screwdriver underneath to see if it would pop it off. Nothing. I'm afraid I'm going to break the damn thing. So....help please? 

Update: Nevermind....I had to pry a lot harder to snap it off then I should've, but it came off safely.

Kirby Return to Dreamland: Bought it on Wii U VC. I love it. This is one of my absolute favorite Kirby games since Super Star Ultra. Great fun with other people, the difficulty curve is slow, but steady. The gears are easy to find which isn't nearly a bad thing. The game looks beautiful as well.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards: Good game, neat idea with the ability combining. Shards are well hidden. Not one of my favorites, but certainly a very good game.

No More Heroes: Are framedrops normal or is it just because I'm running it on the Wii U? Anyways, this is a unique game, probably Suda 51's best. Motion controls work naturally with the game. I don't like many games of this genre, but this is one of the best games I've played.

Lunatic Birthright is basically hard mode Conquest except not every enemy has abilities meant to **** you over. So basically still easy.

Are people really having problems? I mean I've died a few times here and there, but that was par for the course when I first started SF64. The only annoying controls are the stick flicking and lock-on during Star Wolf fights.

The story did need a reboot because any of the Command endings would have been a mess.
I don't think Krystal needs to come back. Ever. I don't mind if they want to add female members to Star Fox, but I don't want Krystal.

These controls are bad? I mean I know it takes a bit to get used too, but these are what ruined the game? Yeah they seem to be docking this game for some other reason.

I loved the Star Wolf level. When you fly really close by them and it goes slo-mo for a bit, they did a good job making it cinematic. I'm happy with it.

(And the SNES Walker looks ridiculous)

Bought the rest of the Smash DLC. Only had Lucas, Cloud, and Roy until now.

Also bought No More Heroes. Heard good news on it and it looks great. Cost me only a few bucks too. I ain't got anything to lose on it  :

Got my copy pre-ordered and excited to pick it up this Friday. The game looks fantastic and I'm extremely hyped for it. It looks like anything I ever hoped for in a sequel to Starfox 64.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I know I got a bit wordy in my post, but don't get me wrong- I think having choice of gender is not a bad thing by any means. i just hope that it doesn't hurt the narrative, even if that narrative has a minor inclusion.

Birthright, the boss was hard, but the enemies were easy. Conquest, the enemies were hard, but the boss was easy. That is how it went for me at least. A Lunatic run is going to be hell because those last few Birthright maps are hard.


I did rush through Birthright and I wasn't too happy with the story. I enjoyed how in Conquest, Corrin/Kamui had good character development and it showed off the cast of Nohr wonderfully. In Birthright, it wasn't that good. If anything, the Nohr family still had more development in Birthright then the Hoshido family. Revelations....yeah it hasn't been a fun start. The new maps are neat, but ultimately tedious so far. And they choose "the worst of" maps so far. The Conquest Wind Tribe map and the Birthright Mokushu map. The leveling seems like an absolute mess as well it feels like. I hope it gets better like you say.

I'll say it again. Beat the Bomb is awesome. Australian site with great prices and very reasonable shipping. They have a ton of the hard to find amiibo. I got my Robin and Lucina through them.

I've had bad luck with importing items that I've just given up on it. I'll give these guys a try later for Ike and maybe Robin/Marth and see how it goes though.

So I beat Conquest.


**** that last chapter. **** it. Fucking unlimited enemies that destroy your army. And you can't just send your most OP unit straight into the fray. Because they half your health, and then the M. Ninjas and Malig Knights slowly inch your hp away. I had people die in that ending, but **** it. That entire map is just made to **** you over. You can't go offensive, you can't go defensive. You just die and hope it isn't Corrin. God I am so mad that I had people die there.


Okay I wanted to rage about it that is all.


The ending was nice though.

I don't think the craze is dying down as much as Nintendo has found out how to keep them healthily supplied. I've seen a ton of Lucas amiibos at my Gamestop. Unfortunately, the waves that had the biggest supply problems aren't restocked yet. (Lucina, Ike, Palutena, etc).


I did buy Lucina through a scalper (dick). Found a Fox one as well which I was lucky to get. And picked up Roy. I'll start collecting the rest of the damn things I want when the Cloud amiibo comes out.
