To be fair, Olimar is 100% new to smash; whereas, Zelda's move set is entirely unchanged from Melee.

My thoughts exactly.

This is the first guaranteed FS I've seen yet and this gives Olimar a serious edge in stock matches.

Maybe there's some way to avoid it or the damage is minimal or something.

The Final Smash looks so cool, and now I hate NOA even more for delaying the game.

all i ever play is stock matches, and who called Olimar's final smash? I looked for it and couldn't find it.

I have to say that I'm hoping you can fight back against the wild creatures even though you can barely see yourselves. I have to say that Snakes and Olimars makes everyone else look a little lame.  I don't really see a situation you wouldn't just go to Olimars and Snakes.

Pap, myself and IceCold all called his FS.

Augh! I've checked a thousand times, and Nintendo still hasn't updated. I can't take the suspense. I need to know how well my Father Time mii did in the contest.

....oh wait, this is the Smash Bros. Dojo update thread, not the Check Mii Out Channel thread. My mistake.

So what does everyone who thought stickers were stupid think now?

I wasn't in that group, but I didn't think too much of them either. This, though, is really cool, and a great way to increase the replay value of the Adventure mode.

I wonder if it is possible to get multiples of rare stickers, like the ones you get off the challenge grid (assuming that there are ones you get off the challenge grid, because all I saw in that update was trophies and music),  because it would suck to loose them and never get them back.

EDIT: Did anyone notice that the smash symbol on the difficulty select; I like how they add lines for higher levels and how it actually seems that "hard" is default.

I'm sure you only lose half of the stickers you have collected in your SSE session, not your total collection...

Holy crap, he's done it again...is there no end to the amount of STUFF in this game? Jeez, even calling it a "game" at this point just feels like an understatement...if that makes any sense

These are the kind of updates that I really missed

Once you peel off a sticker you applied, you lose it for good! So take care when you lay down your stickers.

Quote

So while removed stickers are gone forever, you?ll be getting stickers left and right as you play?you?ll probably find that sticker you lost again. And, if you only use stickers you have doubles of, you?ll never lose one from your collection.

These comments are what I was talking about. I had already assumed what you said about losing half when you see the game over screen.

EDIT: The more I move the idea around in my head the more I believe there will not be any stickers that you can only get once. It just would not make sense.

EDIT: Darn you, Bill, you posted while I was editing this .

EDIT: Again!!!

Ah, well this quote may comfort you then...

Plus, as I've said before, the higher you set the difficulty in The Subspace Emissary, the better your chance of running across rare stickers.

I doubt there will be any stickers that you can only get once... =)

Oh come on! You have to give Sakurai and his team credit for taking what could've been a mundane and forgettable collectible gimmick and turning it into a clever gameplay mechanic.

Besides, you'll only use them in adventure mode. Regular Brawl will not have the feature. And it looks as if its balanced enough that it prevents players from overpowering their characters.

At the very least, you should try it out before saying it ruins the game.
