Weapon and movement type: Sword infantry, complete with a 1-2 range Combat Art in his demo video.
Blinded by the light: The only clearly Caucasian main lord, which tracks with him being from a foreign country (in relation to Dagda). He has at least been to Fodlan (proof below), but his actual home nation is still unrevealed.
English voice actor: Xander Mobus
Prior VA Fire Emblem roles: Darios (main antagonist) in Fire Emblem Warriors, plus Innes (Sacred Stones), the original Flame Emperor Arvis (Genealogy of the Holy War), and the second voice of Kaze (Fates) in Heroes.
Other Nintendo roles: Smash Ultimate hands, the announcer... and Persona 5's Joker which means he's also killed every gacha game to ever cross over with P5 including Dragalia Lost.
July 20 - Fabio
Weapon and movement type: Dark mage infantry.
Not that one: Definitely should not be confused for the supermodel, because to be generous they look like they went through a lot.

Other Nintendo roles: They voice a golfer in Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots and are a player character voice in the upcoming Code Vein II.
July 24 - Esmeralda
Weapon and movement type: A lance-wielding armor unit (the first confirmed one).
Brick Tamland Award Winner: Her signature weapon is a 1-2 range trident. She might want to lay low for a while, she's probably wanted for murder.
Doing the heavy lifting: One of the lighter dressed female armor units in the tradition of Effie and Jade, so she's more of a shield unit.
English voice actor: Kendell Byrd
Prior Fire Emblem VA roles: None.
Other Nintendo roles: Delitia in Octopath Traveler 0 is the only one, though her credits on BTVA can be counted on two hands.
July 28 - Mikaela
Weapon and movement type: Shown as axe infantry.
From critical to dead: One of the first instances of a critical hit in the character reveals, though a basic animation.
A woman after your stomach: All three of her interests center on food and drink: cooking, baking, and coffee.
English voice actor: Marie Westbrook
