A look back at the biggest Nintendo newsmakers of 2015.

As 2015 winds down and visions of eShop cards dance in our heads, it's always important to take stock about what we went through in this year. There's been high and low points this year, but it's been nothing if not entertaining to follow Nintendo in 2015.

But what games made the biggest news for Nintendo this year, for better or for worse? The NWR news department has sifted through an entire year's worth of stories to determine which games made the biggest - and most important - impact.

If you'd like to see the process of taking our long list down to ten games as it happened, we recorded the deliberations and you can see them below.

Where is 6-10? Anyway I enjoyed listening to the discussion and personally would have moved out Zelda and Runbow since they aren't really games that made news, more a game than represents a story or theme for the year. But overall it's a list I can get behind.

Splatoon inks it way to the top!

The middle pages didn't upload properly, but they're up now.

The 2016 GOTY joke cracks me up every time. I never understand the hate federation forces gathered; let's hope it delivers.
