Nintendo World Report highlights the best of the year that was.
Which Wii game is the best to break out when you've got friends over? The one that gets the NWR Award for Best Wii Multiplayer, that's which!
The game that brought the most questions before launch turned into the game that brought the most fun after it. Wii Sports was our unanimous choice for best multiplayer game on the Wii. There's no doubting how much fun the game is, but when you have four people using their Miis to bowl or hit tennis balls back and forth, it becomes a different beast entirely. It's the best party game going on the system right now, and that's a good thing for everyone. We all got it for free!
Runner-up: Rayman: Raving Rabbids
As a single-player game, Rayman is not very good. Until you unlock all of the mini-games, it's not that good of a multiplayer game, either. However, if you play with someone who has gone through all the grunt work (or copied the completed save file to an SD card) it's one of the goofiest, silliest and most fun Wii launch games you'll play.
