Another month, another Famicast. This time, you may notice a few new voices added to the mix. Josh Polak and Tim Collier join Danny and Ty for this very special episode primarily themed around The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past! Before getting to that fun segment, the guys talk about a variety of games ranging from Pokémon X and Y to Ducktales Remastered to Punch Out!! in the new business section of the show. Thankfully Mike Tyson’s real voice wasn’t implemented into the original game, otherwise he might have scared you with talk of eating your children!
After going through the latest batch of news in Japan, the premier segment of the show titled, “A Link to the Future,” kicks off with an in depth look at this beloved classic. Hear stories about how the guys first played the game, what bosses and items they loved, regional differences between the Japanese and English version (and a fun diatribe by Ty about regional…tampering in games…) and much more. Of course, the purpose of this feature is to not only talk about our own experiences with this amazing game, but also to hear from you guys. Be sure to leave your comments below about why this game is special to you!
As always, be sure to send any and all questions Japan related to famicast@nintendoworldreport.com or post on the "Questions for the NWR Japan Crew Thread.”
