We did it! No lost audio, no hiccups, just a good ol’ fashioned Talk Nintendo Podcast coming right up. We kick off the show with a bunch of games we’ve not only been playing, but we’ve been reviewing as well. Perry’s pair of games are very geometrical featured with TorqueL -Physics Modified Edition- and Little Triangle. The former is a relatively basic, but solid puzzle game and the latter is a spunky little platformer. Casey on the other hand has been playing an action packed, fast paced shooter, or you might think at first. Payday 2 can be deceiving on a number of fronts, but depending on your multiplayer capabilities, it can be a lot of fun. To round out What We’ve Been Playing the boys talk Fe and Casey chimes in with some “Nontendo” business with Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.

We’ve said it before and we’ll likely say it again, but as it stands this is the most jam packed eShop Round Up of all time topping out at 35 games! (I know it loses its luster after the 3rd time we’ve said it) We take it at lightning speed, but don’t worry we stop to criticize dumb price points still. As for the news, it’s a relatively light week and if not for the DICE Awards, it’d probably would have felt lightning speed as well.

In our Topic Of The Show we celebrate the Switch’s first year with a look back at launch day, some of the more memorable games, and how it went from a decent amount of releases weekly to straight up lunacy by the end of the year. We also chit-chat about the future of the Switch as well. All in all, it’s been a crazy first year for the Switch and we’re super excited to see what the future holds.

DIAMOND BONUS TIME! That’s right, another interview with Zoink games and this time the focus is on Fe as we’re honored to be joined by the game’s director Andreas Beijer & NWR Staffer David Lloyd to talk all things Fe (Including unused ideas like... urinating on trees?!)
