Will Wright at Nintendo's E3 press conference in person to talk about new versions of The Sims; one for the GameCube, and one for the GBA.

The idea was heavily based around the GBA-GC link. Wright talked about moving individual Sims between the GBA and GC. Also mentioned were mini-games using the GBA in which players can build skill points or receive money. If players link their GBA versions, they can bid against each for items.

It's going to be a multiplatform game, but it can be assumed that the GameCube version is going to be quite a bit different due to the GBA link.
