The 5th game in the Pokémon series gets an official title, promises series reinvention.
Nintendo has officially announced the 5th generation of Pokémon games as Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. The game will be a DS title, due for release in Japan this year in the Fall. The official website promises that the new games will be a completely new and changing everything. The page adds that more details will be available on Thursday April 15.

Travis Touchdown kills again next month.
Rising Star Games has announced that the Wii-exclusive No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle will release in Europe on May 28.
The game follows series protagonist Travis Touchdown as he avenges the murder of his best friend, returning to the United Assassins Association to slice and dice his way up the rankings. There are six different weapons, thirteen different wrestling moves, several mini-games, and two new playable characters.

Sega's head of Western operations considers the 360 and PS3 the natural home of Platinum Games' titles.

Transformers: Cybertron Adventures will be the name of the Wii version of the upcoming Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 title, Transformers: War for Cybertron.
The ESRB revealed a new Transformers game on Wii called Transformers: Cybertron Adventures, and Joystiq followed up with Activision, confirming that this new title is the Wii version of War for Cybertron, which is coming out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

This week in Nintendo Downloads we have seven new titles.
The first of two WiiWare titles this week is Fishie Fishie, a simple fast-paced action game for up to four players that uses only one button on the Wii Remote. The game has seven modes and 100 levels, and its multiplayer modes take place on the same screen. Fishie Fishie is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points ($5).

The Yellow Forest route features tons of Pikachu, including special ones.
Nintendo announced that the Yellow Forest Pokéwalker route is available as of April 1 in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
The exclusive route features an array of Pikachus, some of which know Surf or Fly, and will be available until May 5.
Players can download the route by selecting Mystery Gift on the main menu. For more detailed instructions, check out the official website.

We saw a new trailer for Other M yesterday, but Nintendo has updated the Japanese Metroid site with their own version. High Voltage Software is working on a The Conduit sequel, this time with split-screen, new co-op modes, and more.
Sega officially announced High Voltage Software's The Conduit 2 today after it was revealed by Nintendo Power earlier this week.
The only thing the press release below mentions that was in Nintendo Power is the "Conduit 2 Get Your Head In the Game Sweepstakes," which begins on April 2.

Nintendo is on a trailer-releasing spree as they followed up yesterday's Metroid: Other M trailer with a brand new Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer that shows off a new rock power-up and the new world map.
The trailer shows off the Rock Mario power-up, where Mario rolls up into a ball and zooms around levels. You can do everything from launch off ramps and knock over enemies in a 10-pin bowling formation.

Nintendo revealed three new rewards for their Club Nintendo program: a WiiWare title called Grill Off with Ultra Hand!, Game & Watch Collection 2 for DS, and three Mario posters.
Club Nintendo is Nintendo's reward program for their customers that allow them to collect coins by purchasing games and performing surveys. These coins can then be redeemed for different items.

Yes, that's right. This is footage of gameplay for Metroid: Other M. Update: Now in HD!
Nintendo released a gameplay trailer for Metroid: Other M, which is slated for a June 27 release in North America.
The trailer shows off a variety of locales, including the usual fire and ice levels. There are also an array of enemies, both classic and new, and a few bosses. A portion of the opening, first shown at Nintendo's Media Summit, featuring the ending to Super Metroid in CG, closes out the trailer.
