Fans of Wario Land: Shake It! should be delighted.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is being developed by Good Feel, known most recently for Wario Land: Shake It!.

HAL Laboratory, the developer who created Kirby, is also involved, though it appears that Good Feel is the primary developer.

I'm feelng good about this development!

I was already interested, but knowing this makes me much more so.

Is Good Feel a 2nd party or a 3rd party? Wario Land Shake it was an awesome game, and this Kirby game seems awesome too!

That's a good match!  Wario Land was great!  I'm a lot more interested in this knowing they're involved.

I've got a good feeling about this game.

I believe Nintendo owns them. This is only their second Wii game. Everything else they've created was on DS, and only one of those games left Japan (Looksey's Line Up).

F*CK YES!!!!

Good Feel proved with Wario Land Shake that they know how to make great 2D platformers.  Pretty much guarantees this game is going to be awesome now.

Of course this also shows the sad state that HAL is in right now.  They barely even develop any games anymore and are just a codemonkey studio to Nintendo now that's used to help out other studio's.  It's become pretty obvious that Iwata and Sakurai pretty much ran that place by themselves because after both of them left HAL has just gone to hell.

Oh well, at least with Good Feel this Kirby game is in good hands.

After re-watching the trailer and reading this news, colour me very intrigued by Kirby's Epic Yarn. This reboot is long overdue, but I'm pleased that the Copy ability has finally been scrapped in favour of this new Yarn mechanic, which looks much more fun.
