Under the new Infogrames publishing agreement, the first game based on The Matrix has a new name and a new launch date.

Shiny Entertainment's first game based on The Matrix, now being published by Infogrames, has undergone a couple of slight changes since last we heard about it. First, the game has a new name: Enter the Matrix. Apparently it is still based on the second movie though, The Matrix Reloaded.

Nintendo's president Hiroshi Yamauchi stepped down today, and has been replaced by Satoru Iwata!

While playing Phantasy Star Online, we discovered something people have been waiting a very LONG time for. Another NiGHTS title. Well, almost.
Using the "N-Link" connection, Phantasy Star Online can download a NiGHTS bonus game to your GBA for portable play. It's not a full NiGHTS adventure, but perhaps a hint towards the future.

Seems that Nintendo is still iffy on releasing the game out here. As a result, the game is a no-show at E3.

When asked if Fire Emblem was still coming out in the US at the E3 Nintendo press conference, the statement given was that the game was still unconfirmed despite internet rumors that it would be coming out here.
This sort of unconfirmation spells doubt on a US release. If Nintendo doesn't announce the title soon, don't expect a 2002 release, if at all.
