The king of the roguelike platformer is coming to Switch in three weeks.

Originally spotted by Vooks, both Spelunky and Spelunky 2 have been spotted on the European and Australian eShops with a release date of 26 August. Spelunky will be US$9.99/€9.99/AU$15.00, with Spelunky 2 at US$19.99/€19.99/AU$30.00.

Life Is Strange Collection Delayed Switch

No sense coming out so close to the new one - and less dev crunch, too.

Although Life is Strange will still show its True Colors next month, the rest of the series has been held back.

In announcing the release date for True Colors's first DLC story (September 30), developer Deck Nine have also confirmed the Remastered Collection which would bring the series to Switch in its entirety has been delayed to early 2022.

The latest Indie World presentation was expected in August, but probably not this early.

Nintendo have confirmed the latest edition of their indie show will air tomorrow (August 11), at noon ET / 9 am PT / 1800 CET. According to the notification it will be "around 20 minutes long" similar to the last few.

Darksiders III Bringing Fury To Switch On September 30 Switch

It's not quite the Zelda you're used to.

The last piece of the Darksiders puzzle is Switch-bound.

Darksiders III, a more exploration focused new take on the series, will come to Switch on September 30. A physical release is also coming, and as a late port from PC / PlayStation 4 / Xbox One will include a pair of DLC packs.

Players assume the role of Fury, a sister of the previous Darksiders protagonists War and Death who can shift her elemental properties in combat.

Last year's quarter wasn't as busy, but did it pay off?

Nintendo released a financial results statement for the second calendar quarter (first fiscal quarter) of 2021 a few hours ago. All indicators were down compared to the black swan Q1 of 2020, but still much higher than the same quarter in 2019.

All numbers reported in yen: a rounded comparison based on an exchange rate of 109.56 yen to the US$ is provided for clarification only.

Cruis'n Blast Takes Green Flag On September 14 Switch

One of the unexpected surprises of the last Nintendo Direct will be out next month.

Cruis'n Blast, the latest title in the high speed racing series, will release on Switch September 14. Based on the 2017 arcade title, Blast is the first Cruis'n console game since 2007.

A new trailer showing some of the game's 29 tracks has also been released.

New Pokemon Snap is not done yet.

The April-launched photo simulator will get a free update this Tuesday with three new areas - a river area with rapids, a mountain area, and a forest area where the vehicle is shrunk to get extreme close-ups of smaller Bug-typed Pokemon.

Sega-Themed Picross Game Launches Next Week Switch

Jupiter's Picross S Genesis & Master System Edition comes to Switch on August 5.

On August 5, Jupiter will release Picross S Mega Drive & Master System Edition, a Sega-themed version of their long-running Picross series. First announced in June 2020, this game includes a total of 480 puzzles split between regular Picross and special modes including Clip and Color Picross.

Dr. Goomba Tower was really just slightly more legit than Dr. Oz, let's be fair.

The practice of Dr. Mario World is closing after a bit over two years of service.

Nintendo have confirmed that the LINE-developed mobile puzzle game will end service on November 1, 2021 at 0600 UTC (2 am ET). The game's in game currency "diamonds" will no longer be available for sale starting at the same time tomorrow.
