From this point forward, Kuju London will be known as Headstrong Games.
Today, one of the seven development studios under Kuju Entertainment has rebranded themselves as Headstrong Games. Kuju London, developers of Nintendo's Battalion Wars series, will be known as Headstrong Games from now on.
In the announcement of their new name, Headstrong revealed that they are working on a soon-to-be-announced title with Sega as well as a number of other projects.

WiiWare brings the Frat Party Games while Virtual Console has a TurboGrafx16 racing game and a Neo Geo fighting game.

According to Alain Corre, executive director for Ubisoft, Red Steel 2 has been in development for "many months now, and this new device will help us be even more precise."
In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Alain Corre, executive director for Ubisoft, has revealed that Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus will be used to augment the first-person experience for Red Steel 2. A sequel to the launch day hit has been rumored to be in development for quite some time, but this is the first official proof that one is Wii bound.

Dragon Quest popular in Japan? Say it aint so!
The latest remake of the Dragon Quest series to hit the Nintendo DS went straight to the top spot this week, hardly surprising in a country which has a law against releasing "Dra-Que" games on a school day.
Wii Fit is showing no signs of slowing down during the hot summer months here in Japan and looks to be challenging Wii Sports for the biggest selling Wii game, not bad considering it costs almost twice as much.

This brand new story-adventure game uses time travel for puzzle solving.
Konami have announced that a new franchise is in development for Nintendo DS. Time Hollow is an adventure game characterised by story development. The game takes players backwards through time to change events in the past in order to solve puzzles in the future. The deep storyline and integrated puzzles are its main features.

An interview with Stephen Totilo reveals that Reggie Fils-Aime sees the Wii’s limited storage as a problem for more than just the "geeks and otaku."
MTV's Multiplayer blog had a chance to speak with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime about the problems caused by the limited storage capacity of the Wii, experienced by some gamers. Laurent Fischer of Nintendo of Europe made an unbecoming remark recently that only "geeks and otaku" are suffering this problem, minimizing the impact of the problem to a certain group.

Mama will be preparing meals all around the world by 2009.
505 Games announced that Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen is coming to Wii in Europe sometime next year.
Players will be able to use the motion sensitive controls of the Wii Remote to cook up all of the featured new recipes in full 3D. Players will be able to chop, grate, slice, and fry a wide variety of dishes as well as partake in the new mini-games to liven up the gameplay during the preparation of meals.

The classic children's book series is receiving the digital treatment in the form of Goosebumps Horrorland, an adventure title.
Scholastic Interactive announced yesterday that under their new publishing label, Elastic, they are releasing Goosebumps Horrorland for Wii and DS.

The keyboard is designed for the Wii Internet Channel and the upcoming chat-oriented games, specifically Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Logitech have announced that they are currently producing a wireless keyboard for Wii. Unlike the Wii Remotes, the wireless keyboard won't connect with Bluetooth, but through wireless USB. The mini-receiver plugs into the Wii console and can be stored in the back of the keyboard when not in use.

Yesterday GAMEINVEST announced their newest title in development for both Wii and DS, Defenders of Law, Inc. The game is a puzzle-based crime drama in the vein of Capcom's Phoenix Wright series. Players will have to piece together clues and compile evidence in order to solve a murder mystery. GAMEINVEST claims the title is casually focused and highly accessible, but deep enough to be enjoyed by all.

If you like shooters one is coming to WiiWare and two import shooters are hitting Virtual Console.

The DS will receive the second entry in the series and will feature an expanded strategy RPG experience from the original.

From summer 2009, each of the new episodes in the trilogy will be released sequentially.
Early last week, Apogee Software and Deep Silver announced that they would be bringing a brand new game series titled Duke Nukem Trilogy to the DS in the early summer months of next year. The trilogy is comprised of three completely new episodes, Critical Mass, Chain Reaction, and Proving Grounds.

Capcom confirms the remake for a North American release this winter.
Capcom's most successful Xbox 360 game to date, Dead Rising, was recently revealed by Famitsu Weekly to be coming to the Wii. Today, Capcom USA confirmed that the game is coming to American shores this winter with the subtitle, "Chop Til' You Drop". The publisher also released the first official screen shots and announced several features in the game.
