Okay, how much GBA news can you handle? Yes you know that the system will launch in the U.S. on June 11, 2001 for $99.95 in the same 3 colors (with different names) as in Japan...but how about the fact that games will retail between $29.95 and $39.95 (which is about what was expected). Also, did you know that there'll be 15 games at said system launch. Here's the launch lineup.

When it rains it pours, at least that's what it seems like today for GBA info.

Activision has confirmed support of the Gameboy Advance today. According to the news release, Activision has 6 games in development "including titles based on such hit brands as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Spider-Man and X-Men." In fact, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 should be available at the system's launch come June. Now let's see if these guys can't confirm some titles in the works for GameCube...

According to GameSpot, Nintendo plans to have 1 million Game Boy Advance units ready for the North American launch of the system on June 11th. If you live in Japan and can get to a Poke Center you just might be able to snag on of these babies.

It appears that there will be 4 different GBAs for sale at the launch in Japan. The fourth one is a special Pokemon Center edition version of the system. It appears to be a dark silver with gray buttons. It also has little Pokemon pictures flanking the words "Game Boy Advance." But why describe it to you when I can show it to you.

GB Station has grabbed some sha-weet video. These are the actual commercials for Game Boy Advance games, direct from Japan. They show a wealth of game footage, unlike us filthy Amercians. Euro-Asia Game Boy has acquired an image of the Japanese GBA packaging, in case you're interested. Could be an indicator of what to expect for the North American packaging, although I'm sure there will be at least some changes.

Blizzard's Bill Roper makes a disheartening comment for those hoping to play Warcraft III on GameCube.
