What's up with some of the E3 GameCube demos having load times and stuff? Here's the good news.

An NOA rep at the Star Fox Adventures display told me today that only three games are running on actual, final GameCube hardware here at the show. Not surprisingly, they are arguably the best-looking games: Luigi's Mansion, Rogue Leader, and Pikmin. The other games are running on incomplete development kits, though the units in surround-sound booths have mock GC units for interface purposes.

Rumors were floating around the net about Saffire pulling support for all GameCube projects. PGC uncovers the wonderful truth.

I talked with Dave Rushton of Saffire earlier today and asked him about the rumors about Saffire cancelling all of their GameCube titles and supporting XBox.

Dave laughed and completely denied those rumors. He stated that there were still a couple of GameCube titles in the works, and that you shouldn't always believe what you read on the internet.

With E3 upon us, the world has been bombarded with beautiful GameCube shots, but they have a few jaggies.

Hoo boy, since we hate it when people leech our pics from another site I won't do it to the fine folks at NCL but these pics have to be seen. Many of them may be renders (it is getting hard to tell), but there are some gameplay shots as well that are worth taking a gander at.

For a game to move that fast and still look THAT good? Nintendo has an easy million-seller in this package.

Rick has just returned from the Keynote Address to kick off E3. Get his impressions inside ...

Well, the keynote address has just concluded, and PETERMAINCO was in top form, inciting the crowd to applause on several occasions. For the most part, the keynote was fairly dry, just the heads of the companies talking about what the plan is for the next year. But since we are a Nintendo-site, we’ll just give you the notes from the Nintendo end of the conference, covering the bases not covered at the Press Briefing yesterday.

Check it out... the wacky Brits have completely revamped their site just in for the new era of Nintendo gaming.

With the exception of their Forum (and the fact that I can't find Mr. Pants as of yet) it appears no major features were sacrificed in the push to give the site a slick new look. Old favorites like Scribes and Ask Uncle Tusk are still kicking around so don't fear losing your chance to pick up some occasional humor from the site.

Sega has commited to developing 10 different tiles for the GameCube. What will we see on the E3 floor today?

According to the article, Sega is prepared to show off Super Monkey Ball, Virtua Striker 3 Ver. 2002, and Phantasy Star Online, which will debut next Spring.

How did I get from skipping school for a couple of days last May just to read about the Dolphin and Nintendo’s various attractions to waiting outside a gate with dozens upon dozens of fellow journalists, anticipating what is going to be one of Nintendo’s highest monumental days, and one that I will never forget.

On the Preshow demo reel, there was a feature with Mario and Luigi in karts on a plain back backround, and a logo for the game shortly after.

As expected, Sin & Punishment will be at E3. Will it be released in North America?
