Having your identity stolen can be serious business - unless Nintendo's greedy guy Wario™ is involved. Through the years, Wario has often had his eyes on gold coins and jewels. In the new Wario™: Master of Disguise game for Nintendo DS, he steals the identity of a thief and becomes the man of a thousand faces (or at least eight).

It seems we'll be seeing multiple games a month.

In a recent interview with SNK's Ben Herman, Spong secured several new details surrounding Neo Geo's inclusion onto Nintendo Virtual Console service, including the following tidbits:

A certain limited number of titles will be released each month.

Some of SNK's more obscure titles that were never made available for home purcahse previously might find a home on VC.

A pending stock trade means that Nintendo cannot legally announce any new information at GDC 2007.

Although Nintendo is set to have a big presence at the 2007 Game Developers Conference next week, Chris Kohler of Wired.com's Game|Life blog has learned that the company will be restricted to talking about the past. Nintendo is set for a major stock trading event in early March, and Japan's business laws say that Nintendo can't talk about its upcoming games or other plans until that deal is complete.

The popular anime-based fighting game jumps to Nintendo's next-gen platform.

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, it's confirmed that D3Publisher of America is going to release Naruto: Clash of Ninja 3, although it won't be on GameCube. Instead, it'll be debuted on Wii. Although it isn't directly mentioned that it will be a port of the next Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen (as was the case with CoN 1 and 2), the developer of those titles, Eighting, is mentioned.

The discovery requires some quick finger work.

MaxConsole forum member, dolqube, discovered a method for booting GameCube games from other regions on Wii without resorting to boot discs or modchips. The trick allows booting of any NTSC game on any NTSC system (Japanese games on US systems and vice-versa) as well as booting NTSC games on PAL systems. PAL games on NTSC systems will not work. As of now, the trick appears to work on all firmware versions.

Is Dead or Alive headed for Wii?

In a recent interview with CVG, Tomonobu Itagaki, head of Tecmo's Team Ninja and creator of Dead or Alive, expressed interest in Wii development, and after playing the boxing game in Wii Sports, is considering a fighting title on the platform. The full quote reads as follows:

When you see Wii Mortal Kombat or Ubisoft's Red Steel, for example, does that give you any incentive to bring a Dead or Alive or Ninja Gaiden game to the Wii?
