This week's focus seems to be squarely on Virtual Console releases. Slice 'em and dice 'em.
DrinkBox Studios has announced their next game, Severed.
A non-linear action-fantasy with a warrior heroine, it's explained as a cross between Mega Man, Infinity Blade, and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. The game seems to rely on a couple of core features, including world exploration and a control scheme reliant gesture-based inputs. For example, swiping will perform both magical spells and physical attacks.

One thing is for sure, we'll stay on our toes and report further announcements regarding this. What would you like this to turn out to be? Drop a comment!
