Mario Kart Tour is getting the caution flag.

In an announcement today of upcoming content, it was announced that the tour beginning on October 4 (the "Battle Tour") will be the final tour to add new racers, courses, or cart parts. The tour following (a Halloween-themed tour launching on the 18th) will be the first to run as a repeat.

Sounds like a big week for fans of silent towns and IBM.

This weekend's Nintendo Live show in Seattle has shown more gameplay from Super Mario Bros. Wonder following this week's Direct.

The gameplay showed both single and multiplayer gameplay - including two and four player local-cop and some online methods being shown as part of the stage. The roughly 20 minute video can be found below:

During today's Nintendo Direct, a new Switch variant was shown off. The new OLED model features a red mario theme including some images of Mario and coins throughout the system and dock. The Mario Red Edition Switch OLED is planned to launch on October 6, two weeks before the launch of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Nightdive Studios have announced a pair of first person shooter remasters that cover a couple of forms of science fiction.

To coincide with Gamescom, Nightdive have confirmed remasters of Star Wars: Dark Forces and Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion for release: Dark Forces does not have a confirmed release date, but Turok 3 will be available on Switch November 14. Both remasters will be developed in the company's "Kex" engine.
