This PAX East week is chock full of releases in North America, which likely means a lot of post-facto shadowdrops in Europe. There's a heavy retail component this week with five releases: the two Metro games in the Metro Redux collection (sold separately on the eShop), Samurai Shodown, Two Point Hospital, Rune Factory 4 Special, and the Mega Man Zero/ZX collection.

Toss a coin to the absolute madmen.

The Witcher 3 has added a beefy new set of features in an update now available worldwide.

Full patch notes are available on the official Witcher 3 website, though the biggest deal is the ability to import save data from the PC versions of the game. The Switch will accept Steam saves as well as saves from the GOG service (owned by CDPR).

Next is the green one, after this one effectively prints money.

Nintendo's fiscal year will kick off with a new color for the Switch Lite.

A "Coral" color will join gray, yellow, and turquoise in the Lite lineup on April 3 in North America. Japan will get the new system on March 20 to coincide with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, while no date has been announced for Europe / Australia as of yet.

Mixing fast-based card-battling with roguelite design, this Kickstarter success will debut on Switch soon.

The Switch will get first crack at an arcade shooter that harkens back to the early days of aerial combat.

Red Wings: Aces of the Sky has released a new trailer for the World War I-themed shooter, with specific emphasis on the using of the Joy-Cons for flight.

The Switch version will launch first, though no release date has been given beyond 2020.

Graffiti Games has released a new trailer for their upcoming 3D platformer Cyber Hook.

The trailer shows off the running gameplay and the cybernetic art style, as well as the use of the grappling hook and enemies.

Cyber Hook is slated for a Q2 release at the moment.

A solo developer is going to get MediEvil on us.

The fourth quarter will see a new 3D platformer with a very dark atmosphere.

Headup have announced an agreement to publish Pumpkin Jack on Switch, with a targeted release window of October-December of 2020. A one-man project, Pumpkin Jack is a run and gun 3D platformer that takes inspiration from Sony's MediEvil and Jak and Daxter franchises.

ibb & obb has been confirmed for a March 5 launch on Switch for US$14.99 with a 15% presale discount. Ibb and Obb are green and pink (respectively) characters who have to navigate a world divided by a horizon that inverts gravity.

Another free-to-play shooter has jumped onto the Switch, starting in the land down under.

Warface, the Crytek developed free to play first-person shooter, is now listed on the Australian eShop. It is a 7.2GB download and has English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

On a week in which a live action Sonic the Hedgehog movie launches, can we really talk about love?

Despite the best efforts of Nintendo to bring down the eShop again on Tuesday night / Wednesday morning with Pokémon Home, the eShop has updated this week with a motley crew of releases. Although The Snack World is finally coming to the West so we can try to see Level-5's latest forced meme, perhaps the most interesting release of this Valentine's week is Florence from Annapurna Interactive.

It wasn't official before, but now two people can get bloody.

Capcom is making sure Devil May Cry 3's Switch version is truly a Special edition.

Devil May Cry series producer (and former Nintendo World Report staffer) Matt Walker made the announcement on Twitter today that co-op play will be available for the Bloody Palace mode, letting two players battle through with Dante and Vergil. Co-op was a hidden option in prior DMC3 versions, but is now wide open upon completing the first mission.

The developers of 20XX have announced a sequel for release next year.

30XX is scheduled to launch in 2021 for Switch, and will have a playable version at PAX East. The two playable characters Nina and Ace will have different abilities, with Nina able to mix and match powers to create 64 different weapons and Ace able to chain techniques.
