by Rick Powers - 12:55 pm EDT
Source: Sonic Team

Rick tells everyone EXACTLY how Sonic Team made the "mystery screenshot" ...

Sonic really opened up a can of worms. Everyone is dissecting that "Mystery Screenshot" as if it were a legit game and not the creation of a web developer that needed art.

Folks, don't take the screenshot at face value. Yes, the mystery game is likely to be Sonic (since anything else would... Read more...

Old Forums Go Bye Bye

by Justin Nation - 12:36 pm EDT
Source: Da New Forums

Sometimes you have to do things that nobody particularly likes but just gotta happen. This is one of those times...

In light of the bandwidth/processor hog that the site has become and with SpaceWorld right around the corner we've decided to get rid of our hosted Forums and set up shop in freebie-world. Granted, some people may like the newer digs but most likely people will be disappointed. Well, that's how dat cookie it a crumbles unfortunately... and better the cookie than the site.

by Billy Berghammer - 7:49 pm EDT
Source: Ebay

Someone is selling a GameCube controller on Ebay! You won't be able to use it though.

Want a limited edition GameCube controller right now? Why is it limited edition you ask? Well for two reasons....

1. It's not the final version of the GameCube controller. It's more like the version we played at E3. I would almost say, exactly alike.

2. The cord is cut.

IGN Cube has a scan from Famitsu that reveals all.

by Billy Berghammer - 3:50 pm EDT
Source: Pacific Science Center

No, I'm NOT kidding. But there's one itty bitty catch. You need to be in Seattle.

Most Nintendophiles out there would give their left arm to go play GameCube games at this very moment. Well Timmy, put down that butter knife cause it's now POSSIBLE!

The Pacific Science Center in Seattle is hosting their annual Toy Test. It's a chance for the consumers to rate what's good (Nintendo) and what sucks (everything else). Heh.

The largest Japanese third-party says it will make no GameCube announcements at Space World, and is focusing its efforts on the fall TGS.

The newest edition of Scribes at Rare's official website includes an oddly serious and frighteningly informative exchange between Leigh Loveday, various Rare game designers, and PGC's own Jonny Metts:

Dear Scribes,

Well, since you're now accepting questions about the new titles from E3, allow me to direct a few your way in anticipation of witty non-answers.
