Sega earned $8.3 million (1.01 billion yen) in the six months through September in contrast to a loss of 20.87 billion yen in the first half a year ago.

Sales totaled $777 million (95.1 billion yen), down nearly 3 percent from 97.8 billion yen a year ago. Sales dropped 36 percent overseas, although sales in Japan edged up 6 percent.

Releasing Spring 2003 (March) in Japan, May 2003 in the US.

Approximately 5000 Yen (around $49.99 USD)

Sits under the GameCube and plugs into the High Speed Parallel Port

Nintendo's marketing plans for Europe this Christmas and a few release dates for next year, including Metroid Prime.

Today a number of release dates were announced for high profile titles in 2003. Firstly, Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 0 will be available from March 2003.

Japanese gamers. Both games are due out in February 2003 in Japan.

Capcom's Japanese website has updated with a huge new section for Production Studio 4, the company's developer suite devoted quite heavily, it seems, to the GameCube platform.
