have to be honest when I say that in the 12 hours I was on the show floor, I

literally had to hunt for not only Nintendo news, but anything video game

related.  Sure, Dolby was running

Heck if you were here in Minneapolis in this crappy 1 degree weather...you'd be sick. Well I guess that's what happens when you get as old as Nathan. You get sick easier.

So Nathan will be spending tonight getting his ass handed to him in Mech Assault by yours truly. Happy Birthday Brother! Here's your ass!

Happy Frickin' Birthday, Jonny. I have to admit, I was a little stunned when Billy not only reminded me that today was your birthday, but that you were turning just 21 today. How does TEH SEXIES MAN stay so young? Must be all that clean living and late night debates.

Billy would have posted this himself, but he was on his way out for another busy day in Vegas. He'll stop by later to add his birthday wishes too, I'm sure.

And it doesn't look like they'll make it to Australia either.

Things are looking worse for a local release of Animal Crossing with Nintendo commenting today that it will never make it to Europe. This is bad news for Australia too, as we rely on Europe for their PAL games.

In retaliation for Nintendo announcing a front-lit GBA, the pioneers cut the price on the AfterBurner ...

Triton Labs has posted a message on their website, in addition to e-mailing customers, informing them of a $10 price drop on the AfterBurner. Below are the relevant points.

Billy's had a very busy day in Las Vegas today, but he made sure to take a few minutes to phone in and give you guys the scoop on Game Boy Advance SP. He'll be back later with more detailed impressions, photos, and maybe video, but for now, here's a little snack:

The original Name for the Game Boy Advance SP was "Game Boy Advance DX".

According to the ELSPA, UK video games sales reached an all time high in 2002 boosted by the launches of GameCube and Xbox.

Latest Figures for Year 2002 from The Entertainment & Leisure Software Publishers Association

ELSPA (The Entertainment & Leisure Software Publishers Association) has announced today that UK sales of leisure software and hardware products reached an all time high in 2002 with values reaching £2,074m, an increase of 8% up on the previous year.

Previously announced Sonic Adventure DX and Virtua Fighter Quest are due out in 2003, says the company's Japanese website.

Though both were initially announced quite a while back, Sega's Japanese website now offers the first new information on Sonic Adventure DX and Virtua Fighter Quest. Rumors have been floating around the Internet that Nintendo is holding a press conference in New York this upcoming Tuesday.

While we can confirm that there will be a press conference, we’re not exactly sure what will be revealed at this time. We’ll have up to the moment updates within the next 48 hours.

Reports say the Japanese will get a GameCube Pokemon game this summer...

According to Nikkei Keizai Shimbun, Nintendo will release a Pokemon game for GameCube by the end of summer. The GC version of Pokemon will require a GBA and a copy of Pokemon Sapphire or Ruby.

The price of the game is expected to be cheaper than Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby (around $40 US in Japan).

It's sort of like a cartoon version of The Grid, with the obligatory Pokemon elements.

Capcom will be showing a new third-person shooter for GameCube at E3. Gotcha Force is essentially a kid-targeted deathmatch game, similar to Nintendo's own Custom Robo series. Players collect toys and make them fight each other in 3D arenas, apparently in real-time.
