A new adventure in the world of The Witcher has just released on Switch.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is an adventure game set in the Witcher 3 world that also includes a card-based battling system. It is now available on Switch for US$19.99 or equivalent.

Although originally developed by CD Projekt, the Switch port was handled by Crunching Koalas.

The adventure genre is particularly strong this week on Switch, as we have three very interesting takes on the genre. In addition to the long, LONG awaited Kentucky Route Zero there's Not Tonight (the Brexit simulator launching on the best possible day) and Aviary Attorney which is... exactly what it says on the tin.

There will be two rounds of DLC available for Samurai Shodown, with the second coming on the date of the game's release.

The first pack, already available for pre-purchase, costs US$19.99 and contains four characters: Basara (from III), Kazuki (IV), Wan-Fu (all games), and Rimururu (II). The second pack, available on the game's February 25 launch day, will include Mina (V, available in February), Sogetsu (IV), and Iroha (VI).

Double Fine's newest Switch release will be a co-op focused adventure game from some heavy hitters of the industry.

Knights and Bikes is now available for preload on the eShop, with a release / unlock date of February 6. Set on a mysterious island, players and their pet goose have to try and escape armed only with childhood toys.

Byleth has been announced as the final character in the first Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighter's Pass. Originally from 2019 NWR Game of the Year Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Byleth will use multiple different types of weapons with the different directional buttons (lance, axe, and bow in addition to sword).

The potential Game of the Decade candidate for the 2010s is bursting into the 2020s with hopefully, way more momentum and a fanbase that will actually buy RPGs.

A bit of Nintendo history will be renovated in 2021.

As first reported by the Japanese news agency Osumituki (translated by Japanese Nintendo), the building that served as Nintendo's corporate headquarters prior to the year 2000 and still had the company's logo on it will be renovated into a 20 room hotel. The renovation is expected to be completed in the summer of 2021.

Stories: Untold is a collection of four short point and click adventure titles. Originally released on PC, the controls have been reworked for support of the Joy-Cons for the Switch release.
