According to sales data provided to IGN by the NPD Group, Wii Play and Wii Fit are two of the top three best-selling games in North America this decade. Wii Remote to come packaged with Wii MotionPlus. UPDATED with pictures of the final packaging.
Nintendo has finally announced a North American release date for their black Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. The new color will be available on November 16, one day after the release of New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
The black Wii Remote will be bundled with a black Wii MotionPlus accessory for $49.99, a $10 savings compared to buying them separately. The black Nunchuk will be sold individually for $19.99.

The developer of expanded audience games is seeing tough financial times.
UK-based developer Oxygen Games, known for creating budget games aimed at the casual audience, has announced that they have gone into administration (analogous to Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S.). This allows them to continue operating as a going concern while dealing with their creditors. The company has been assigned FA Simms & Partners Ltd. as overseers of the administration case.

Warner Bros. Interactive and MTV Games have announced the full track list for LEGO Rock Band, for both the console and handheld versions of the title. LucasArts has released a new trailer for its upcoming N-Space-developed Nintendo DS title, Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron.
Elite Squadron looks to feature several different styles of gameplay. Players can look forward to dogfights with X-Wing and TIE fighters, as well as lightsaber and laser blaster duels viewed from an overhead perspective. And of course, you can blow up a Death Star.

This year's Digital Content Expo, held in Tokyo, Japan, will feature a keynote by Nintendo's most famous developer, Shigeru Miyamoto. In celebration of its upcoming release, Sega has released final gameplay trailers for both versions of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games will be released on October 13 on both the Wii and DS. To celebrate, Sega has released two new gameplay trailers.

Nintendo has announced the Japanese release date and price for New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The newest Mario game will be released on December 3, and will be priced at ¥5,800 ($66 USD).

Shenmue's honorable hero returns to the Sega universe.
Sega has confirmed that Ryo Hazuki, star of the ambitious Shenmue games, will be a playable character in the upcoming racing title Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing. Ryo's vehicle of choice will be a moto bike, which was heavily used during the climactic moments of the first Shenmue game. His super star move turns the bike into a forklift truck, Ryo's work vehicle, allowing Ryo to charge through the pack.
