The WiiWare title brings home the gold as Best Euro Game.
NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits recently won the "Best Euro Game" award at the Dutch Game awards. The game, developed and published by Madrid-based Over the Top Games, has been available on the Wii Shop channel since June. Developed by a team of four, NyxQuest is a side-scrolling platformer steeped in Greek mythology. It has received much critical praise since its release.

Hudson has released a second teaser trailer for Bonk: Brink of Extinction. While no new gameplay footage is shown, it does showcase the game's quirky humor.

Pokemon rumble, Indy jumps into action, and WiiWare demos debut.
This week WiiWare only gets one game, Pokemon Rumble, from Nintendo and Ambrella. Players pit toy Pokemon against each other in a variety of stages. The more Pokemon you defeat, the more will be added to your collection. You can switch between Pokemon at any time during battle, and Club Nintendo members will be able to download a special toy Pokemon to use in their game.

Retailer's Black Friday ad confirms a little something extra in the box.
As part of its upcoming Black Friday sale, U.S. electronics retailer Best Buy plans to have two special Nintendo DSi bundles that include the system and several games. However, these bundles will be a little different this time around: the games will be DSiWare titles, and they will come pre-installed on the system.

According to Media Create, Final Fantasy Gaiden: The Light Warriors has sold over 150,000 copies in Japan, making it one of the best-selling titles last week. The initial shipment of the title is completely sold out, forcing the game's producer Tomoya Asano to apologize about the game's availability on his personal blog. The producer, however, promises that more units will arrive in late November.

Wii hardware sales are up and Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort take the second and fourth spots in software sales.

The Nintendo executive believes that while there is potential, traditional retail will not be eliminated.
Among many industry analysts and executives at the BMO Capital Markets Digital Entertainment Conference, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime talked about the future of digital distribution.
"As for the idea that digital downloads will somehow eliminate retail, we just don't see it," Fils-Aime said.

Square Enix is bringing together the developers of the original Super Nintendo game for a new entry in the series.
Square Enix is working on Estpolis, a new entry in the Lufia series, according to Famitsu.
The series, which was originally published by Taito, began in 1993 on the Super Nintendo. The last console entry in the series was for the Game Boy Advance in 2003.
Famitsu also reported that the team behind the original game will be working on the new title.

After a few delays, Wii owners will finally get to play the remake of the first Silent Hill game.
Konami confirmed that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is coming to Wii on December 8 following a two-month delay.
Developed by Climax Studios, Konami's re-imagining of the series will be a timed Wii exclusive in the wake of the delay. Currently, the PlayStation 2 and PSP versions are slated for early 2010.

In an interview with The Gaming Liberty, composer Shawn Lee revealed that he would be composing a soundtrack for a Bully sequel. Known in Japan as Last Window: Late Night Promise and Zangeki Reginleiv, the two titles are due out in Japan in January and February respectively.
Nintendo announced that Zangeki Reginleiv for Wii and Last Window: Late Night Promise for DS are coming to Japan in early 2010.
Zangeki Reginleiv, formerly known as Dynamic Slash (or Dynamic Zan), is an action game from Sandlot, who are responsible for Earth Defense Force. There are over 300 weapons to use and four-player co-op. It's set for a February 11 release.

Called Shadow Walker in Japan, The Magic Obelisk is set for a North American release thanks to an ESRB listing.
Game Art's Shadow Walker, a WiiWare title in which players take on the role of a boy's shadow, will be released in North America, but under a different name, according to an ESRB listing.
The game, called The Magic Obelisk, has been rated E for Everyone and is described as being a puzzle game in which players guide a spirit floating across landscapes in the sky.
