Sega just released a trial version of the upcoming PC port of PSO. Download links inside.

Discuss it in Talkback!

Want to get a sample of PSO action right now? If so, you'd better have broadband considering the size of the download.

The official site is right here, but last I checked the official download isn't working due to volume. Sega provided a list of other download locations though. You can explore the site in bad english by using Altavista's Babelfish translater. Just enter http://www.sonicteam.com/pso/pc/ into the translate a webpage box, select Japanese to English and hit translate. You're looking for the "As for download from this way" link. The Sega download and the list of backup sites are near the bottom. When you get to a page with a download link on it, select "view page in its original language" from the Babelfish bar at the top. For some reason the downloads don't usually work from the Babelfish version of the page.

If you want to get downloading immediately, go to this page and look for the link that is just above the nine picture thumbnails (it should say "impress" in English at the end of it). That's one of Sega's alternate download locations that is working at the moment.

And I almost forgot, the game has an English language option built in (which also suggests that the PC version will be released on these shores eventually).
