The "fifth" player in the next-gen console game (behind the now-defunct Sega) was to be Indrema. Now it looks like the still-born console maker only has 30-days to live.
According to the Red Herring, if Indrema doesn't find additional funding in the next 30 days, the ill-fated manufacturer of the L600, the company will fold.
Not surprising, given market conditions. Venture capitalists would be taking a great risk on an unproven competitor in a marketplace that has already claimed the life of one veteran of the field.

Apparently, Upstate Games feels that they can import enough of the special Pokemon Center GameBoy Advance units to sell through their site ... so if you want one, you'd better get on the ball. Total cost is $184.99 with shipping, and that's without a game. Not bad considering these are easily selling for 200-300% over the retail price. Orders are supposed to ship on April 16th. Limit one per person.

InterAct has quite a few goodies for Nintendo's systems coming up...
In InterAct's latest news release, it has announced some of the 24 GameBoy Advance products that will be featured at this year's E3. Click here to get to the list of updated Hardware profiles.
InterAct has also gone on record stating that it is very excited about the GameCube, and plans on supporting it from its release on.

A source close to Nintendo has stated that the GCN will not be out in July.
According to Computer and Video Games, someone high up in Nintendo has commented, "It’s not at all coming out in July. Not a chance." Nintendo will be pushing the GBA, hoping the large numbers of the portable will urge the public to buy GameCubes.

THQ to publish games on latest Disney movie...
THQ has made a deal with Disney Interactive to publish games based on the upcoming animated feature film, Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Versions of the title will appear on Game Boy Color & Game Boy Advance, which will appear in the summer and winter respectively.

A Taiwanese developer will make videogame versions of the Oscar-winning movie, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon! (And guess which platform it's coming to...)
According to The Magic Box, a company called Vista Group will bringing the highest-grossing foreign film of all time to every major console. The PC version will come first later this year, with console versions following in 2002. Best of all, GameCube is listed as one of the target systems! GBA is not, unfortunately, but overall this is great news for the film's millions of fans.

THQ has WWF games on the way for both GameCube and Game Boy Advance.
GameSpot's Spring TGS coverage says that THQ's WWF Wrestlemania series is headed to GameCube, while the GBA will get WWF Road to Wrestlemania. Sounds like they'll be hooking up somehow. No word on who's handling development, but probably the same folks who did all the great N64 wrestling games for THQ.
