Midway is working hard on the latest installment of MK, known as Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance. There hasn’t been too much information on the game as of yet, but that is about to change. The successor to Nintendo's famed marketing guru, Peter Main, gave a presentation in New York City during Toy Fair.

In the presentation, Peter MacDougall, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, George Harrison, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communications, and Perrin Kaplan, Vice President, Corporate Affairs gave a presentation to over 60 analysts at the famed Four Seasons Hotel regarding Nintendo's 2001 figures.

Two original games will be released for GameCube and GBA, then expanded into multimedia franchises by Nickelodeon. Licensing in reverse!

THQ and Nickelodeon are already putting their newly strengthened relationship to work with a "Videogame First" program. With Nickelodeon's input, THQ will publish original games on next-gen systems, with the purpose of creating an audience for those properties that Nickelodeon can later utilize by creating TV series and movies based on the games.

THQ will handle all interactive Nickelodeon properties through 2005 across all platforms.

THQ and Nickelodeon announced today that their current licensing agreement has been expanded to include every Nickelodeon property and extended through 2005.
