Capcom revealed during the E3 direct that both Resident Evil 5 and 6 are coming to Switch this fall. Fans of the franchise will be elated to have more ways to play Resident Evil on the go.

Even though each player in handheld mode has their own screen, Capcom opted for split screen. But why though?
I presume Revelations 1 and 2 on Switch were like this.

Getting Resident Evil 5 for Switch makes me oddly happy.
I had fun with Resident Evil 5 at the time. I doubt it aged well.
5 was co-op driven, yes? Was 6 the same way? I loved the co-op elements in RE Revelations 2, and would definately grab these if that were the case. Just gotta hope for a release of the RE2 remake somehow and I'll be happy with the Switch offerings.
