To quote one observer, Marie may be too popular for her own good.

Following a weekend of Splatfest action in North America, Splatoon will be receiving a maintenance update tomorrow night to fix a few stage glitches.

The update will launch tomorrow night at 9 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. Pacific) following a brief maintenance, and is largely focused on repairing glitches with stages. The patch notes indicate that the newer stages - Piranha Pit, Museum d'Alfonsino and Mahi-Mahi Resort - will be fixed. The update is separate from the last free content update which is slated to hit later this week.

For those who missed the Splatfest in North America...

Team Past 369, Team Future 331 (39-61, 55-45) At the Piranha Pit, a strong performance from the Past battlers resulted in a comeback victory following another popularity deficit. Callie is now 8-2 in North American competition, including a 6-0 record when losing the popularity battle. Japan will step back in this weekend with the question of the Perfect Body vs the Perfect Mind.
