No, the Canadian Mario Tennis and Stella Glow prices aren’t a typo, man.

As this happens to be the downloads that preceed Nintendo’s biggest release day of the year (allegedly), obviously the big movers of the week for North America are supposed to be Mario Tennis Ultra Smash (Wii U) and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon (3DS). But in this case, there’s probably more fun to be had in the smaller publisher titles. You should definitely be picking up Atlus’s Stella Glow, which came out this Tuesday, or maybe Aksys’s Moco Moco Friends is more your speed.

On the eShop, the most intriguing release of the week is the world’s deadliest Scrabble tournament in Typoman, game #4 in the Nindies @ Home series. The Virtual Console has a Capcom oddity in Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival, as the 3DS awaits the end of its long losing streak in February (a day over one year after its last release, actually).

Europe’s most intriguing title isn’t Mario Tennis, but it is a retail title: New Style Boutique 2 (Girls Mode 3 / the new Style Savvy when it comes out in North America) looks quite intriguing and also offers Amiibo support. Since Amiibo Festival is retail only, Animal Crossing Wild World hits the VC… but none of the online features work. Please understand.

Will definitely nab Typoman.

I'm torn on that one. From all of the Nindie at home demos, it was probably the most disappointing experience for me - but only because I had very high hopes.

I really liked the concept, but controls just weren't tight enough for a game that requires so much platforming. Lots of times I'd know what needed to be done, but wasn't able to do it because of mediocre controls - and that got frustrating quickly.

Hoping that things improved between the demo and final release, but not willing to buy until reading a few reviews. That said, it still looks impressive so hoping to hear others share their thoughts on the game.

Looking at the new footage they showed with the Wii U gamepad it looks like the removed the jank of having to push and pull letters around.

Not having multiplayer in GBA games is one of the million reasons why putting them on Wii U makes no sense.

I am talking about Street Fighter game.
