Plus a Wind Waker-inspired boss fight.

Hyrule Warriors Legends has revealed a brand new playable character and a boss for the Wind Waker fans.

Newly playable for the 3DS version is Skull Kid from Majora's Mask, who will fight using an ocarina and the twin fairies Tatl and Tael. The Famitsu article also confirms that Skull Kid will be sporting Majora's Mask when in use, and also appears in a Wii U stage so it may be part of the content added to that version.

The same Famitsu article also confirmed that Phantom Ganon from Wind Waker will be a boss in the game, along with Dragon Roost Island and a temple that takes cues from the Earth and Wind temples as stages.

Do we know if this extra content will be available as DLC for the Wii U version? I'd rather only get one version of the game.

The 3DS version will come with codes to get the additional content on the Wii U.

So I can hope that the content will be available to purchase on its own for the Wii U as I do not want to buy both versions. I want all of the content on the Wii U version.

Skull Kid, my old foe. We meet again.
