Founded last month with 100,000,000 yen of investment from Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, Genius Sonority is hiring for programmers, sound engineers, game planners, and administrative staff in Japan. The founding staff includes programmers that worked on the Dragon Quest and Mother series. The company will focus on developing RPGs for the GBA and GameCube.

Looks like the shiniest GBA will be released in Europe, and soon too.

27th September is your date for the Platinum Game Boy Advance, making a total of six colours divided through over 4 million GBAs, which is the number that has been sold in Europe. It'll sell for around 99 Euros (about £60).

Nintendo puts up a HUGE interview with the three big-wigs of Super Mario Sunshine. You know you're going to read anything Miyamoto says.

NCL interviewed Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka (the game's producers), and Yoshiaki Koizumi (director) after the launch of Sunshine in Japan last month. Nintendo.com, being considerate of all us that speak English, translated it and put it up.

Enclave Comes to GameCube

IGNcube reports that Enclave from Starbreeze Studios and Conspiracy Entertainment will be released on GameCube (as well as PS2 and PC) this holiday season. Enclave has been getting some attention for its excellent graphic achievements on Xbox.

THQ Drops Toxic Grind for GameCube

According to IGNcube, THQ has canceled the GameCube version of Toxic Grind. The game, which features story-based skateboarding action in the vein of Dark Summit, will now be released exclusively on Xbox later this year.

In speaking with the game's producers at the Midway Gamers' Day, Planet GameCube learned that Freaky Flyers will be the next GameCube title to be spread out over two discs.

Each character has a separate storyline that has accompanying FMV. Due to the fact that Freaky Flyers will include a whopping 90 minutes of FMV, they needed the extra space to cram all the video in.

Zed Two Game Design Studio have announced details of their latest project, Pillage.

Pillage is an original, action strategy game where a gang of brave warriors must fight an evil band of creatures and avenge the destruction of their tribe.
