The dance party title has now become the fastest selling new IP from a third party on Wii.
Ubisoft announced that their Wii title Just Dance, first released last November and developed by Ubisoft Paris, now sold more than two million copies worldwide.

The legendary players will make an appearance in the upcoming NBA Jam for Wii.
EA Sports Creative Director Trey Smith confirmed the return of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson as a special team in NBA Jam, according to MTV Multiplayer.

New and old scenes combine to form the Japanese trailer.
We saw a new trailer for Other M yesterday, but Nintendo has updated the Japanese Metroid site with their own version. While much of the trailer repeats scenes from the English version, there are a number of new scenes, and other portions of the Mother Brain Super Metroid scene are shown. Watch it below!

High Voltage Software is working on a The Conduit sequel, this time with split-screen, new co-op modes, and more.
Sega officially announced High Voltage Software's The Conduit 2 today after it was revealed by Nintendo Power earlier this week.
The only thing the press release below mentions that was in Nintendo Power is the "Conduit 2 Get Your Head In the Game Sweepstakes," which begins on April 2.

Nintendo is on a trailer-releasing spree as they followed up yesterday's Metroid: Other M trailer with a brand new Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer that shows off a new rock power-up and the new world map.
The trailer shows off the Rock Mario power-up, where Mario rolls up into a ball and zooms around levels. You can do everything from launch off ramps and knock over enemies in a 10-pin bowling formation.

Nintendo revealed three new rewards for their Club Nintendo program: a WiiWare title called Grill Off with Ultra Hand!, Game & Watch Collection 2 for DS, and three Mario posters.
Club Nintendo is Nintendo's reward program for their customers that allow them to collect coins by purchasing games and performing surveys. These coins can then be redeemed for different items.

Yes, that's right. This is footage of gameplay for Metroid: Other M. Update: Now in HD!
Nintendo released a gameplay trailer for Metroid: Other M, which is slated for a June 27 release in North America.
The trailer shows off a variety of locales, including the usual fire and ice levels. There are also an array of enemies, both classic and new, and a few bosses. A portion of the opening, first shown at Nintendo's Media Summit, featuring the ending to Super Metroid in CG, closes out the trailer.

Slated for a May 18 release, Trauma Team is hitting stores for $10 less than originally announced.
Atlus announced that their upcoming medical drama video game, Trauma Team, will be $39.99 instead of the previously announced $49.99.
The game, originally scheduled for an April release, is coming out on May 18, and will feature six different characters from different fields.

The third Inazuma Eleven title becomes the fourth DS game to use the super-sized card.
Level 5, creators of the Professor Layton puzzle series, has announced the third game in their success soccer DS series, Inazuma Eleven 3. It will be only the fourth DS title to utilize a 4-Gigabit DS card (with the most recent being LovePlus +).

Mario's creator was present for the last half of the tournament, greeting fans and handing out trophies.
Last Saturday, Nintendo's legendary designer Shigeru Miyamoto made an appearance during the latter half of the New Super Mario Bros. Wii tournament held in Tokyo. The designer was on hand to greet attendees, hand out trophies to the winners, and deliver some final words to close the country-wide tournament.

Japanese Tales fans will be able to dress up their characters in new costumes.
Namco Bandai has announced their latest batch of downloadable content for Tales of Graces. This new wave of content will hit Japan on March 31.
Players who pay 400 Wii Points ($4) will receive a new costume for main character Malik. The costume turns him into a samurai, and was designed by Tales series designer Mutsumi Inomata. The character will wear the costume in real time, including battles and cutscenes.

Players can now purchase Virtual Console and WiiWare games at Nintendo's online store.
In a surprise move Nintendo has two downloadable titles listed at their online store for purchase. Using real world currency players can purchase Super Mario Bros. 3 for 5 dollars and Pokemon Rumble for 15 dollars. Nintendo has not made a formal announcement about this new initiative nor has offered details regarding future titles and other services.

A select group of Netflix users are slated to receive their Wii Netflix instant streaming discs very soon.
A lucky few Netflix users are slated to receive Wii Netflix instant streaming discs in the next few days. While not all users who requested the disc are receiving it, it appears that it will only be a matter of time until they do.
Netflix Instant on Wii was announced earlier this year, and was slated for a spring launch. With spring just beginning, it looks like Nintendo and Netflix will meet that window.

Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions will be developed by Beenox Studios, include two new villains, and take place in a universe that hasn't been in a Spider-Man video game before.

Players will be able to download creations from the minds behind Cave Story and Bit.Trip on WarioWare: D.I.Y.
Nintendo has announced more developers that will be creating downloadable microgames for WarioWare: D.I.Y. In addition to the already confirmed creations of Nintendo's own Yoshio Sakamoto, Shigeru Miyamoto, Satoru Iwata, and Masahiro Sakurai, there will also be games made by Studio Pixel (Cave Story), Team Meat (Super Meat Boy), Gaijin Games (Bit.Trip series), WayForward (A Boy and his Blob on Wii), and 5th Cell (Scribblenauts).
