Atlus on Bringing Izuna 2 Stateside DS

Debugging Izuna 2 involved "staring at the screen, mouth slightly agape, eyes unblinking, with a few choice words running through our heads."

Atlus is a company known for their quirky niche titles with a distinctly Japanese flavor, hence they're always challenged with localizing their games for American release. Thankfully, Izuna 2 benefited from "a lot of the first title's text for reference material" and Atlus quickly finished translation into English.

First Description of Gameloft's Wild West Guns for WiiWare Wii

Gameloft's third WiiWare title was first listed on the ESRB website, but it is Japanese magazine Famitsu who gives the shooting game a release date and price.

A recent issue of Famitsu contained the first details of the upcoming WiiWare game Wild West Guns, tucked into the bottom-right corner of a page. No Plans for Brain Training Sequels DS

Whoever was ardently holding out for Brain Training 3 to be Nintendo's big E3 reveal, our condolences.

Last week, an interview in MVC magazine with Nintendo UK's Marketing Director Dawn Paine, revealed that there are currently no plans to bring a third entry to the popular series.

According to Dawn, because both Brain Training titles already released "continue to perform well, there are no plans for any more titles in the series."

Contrasting previous statements about not screening WiiWare content, Nintendo elicited changes in JV Games' upcoming title, including a name change from Frat Party Games – Beer Pong to Frat Party Game

According to the co-founders of JV Games, Nintendo asked them to change the name and some of the content of their upcoming WiiWare title because of one word: "beer." Their game, originally titled Frat Party Games – Beer Pong, was renamed to the more family friendly Frat Party Games – Pong Toss.

Activision announced that Guitar Hero: On Tour has sold over 300,000 units in North America since its recent release, making it Activision's top-selling DS game by a landslide. Elebits Sequel Confirmed for DS DS

Titled Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, the Fall 2008 release will be a direct sequel to the Wii game.

In March of this year, a listing on Gamefly hinted at a sequel to the 2006 Wii release Elebits for the DS. Surprisingly enough, Konami has revealed that the sequel is indeed heading to the DS this fall.

The most recent issue of Jump Magazine and a Square Enix countdown page confirm the long-rumored project.

SquareEnix launched a new website today in Japan that confirms news from the most recent issue of Jump Magazine: the SNES classic Chrono Trigger is being ported to the DS. The new site features a clock similar to the iconic RPG's logo as well as the ticking sound heard in the introduction sequence of the SNES game.
