The Pokémon Yellow of Pearl and Diamond has been revealed by Nintendo.
Nintendo of Japan published a website today proclaiming the existence of a new entry into the Pokémon franchise. Though a new release, the game is said to be an expansion of sorts to the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games released on the DS last year.

A one-off partnership with Target will see Wii Fit branding on race cars in each series' respective biggest and longest races of the year.
Chip Ganassi Racing, one of the biggest race teams in the country, has announced a special one-off partnership with Nintendo and the team's primary sponsor, Target, to appear in what Nintendo is calling the “Wii Fit 1,100.”

The new title, called Skate It, will be compatible with the Balance Board on Wii and use the stylus on DS.
Electronic Arts announced that they are working on a Wii and a DS version of the next game in their popular Skate franchise. Entitled Skate It, the game will have distinct versions developed for the two Nintendo systems. The biggest news from this announcement is that the Wii version will be compatible with the Wii Balance Board which is included in the upcoming release of Wii Fit.

WiiWare size constraints will keep the series off of Nintendo's recently launched service.
The teams at Penny Arcade and Hothead Games have been hard at work on a new episodic adventure series based on Gabe and Tycho from the Penny Arcade comics. Earlier this week, the release date of the first episode was announced as May 21, 2008, where it will simultaneously be available via Xbox Live Arcade and Penny Arcade's Greenhouse service on PC, Mac, and Linux.

Australians can soon join Japanese and American players in the hit sequel to Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Nintendo announced today that Super Smash Bros. Brawl will finally be ready for release in Australia on June 26.
Featuring the same play style found in its predecessor, Brawl will also feature: a new line up of characters, stages, and modes for players to enjoy. In addition, players will be able to take the game online with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and brawl with fighters and friends worldwide.

Developer Nnooo hopes their original bubble-popping puzzle-shooter will prove accessible to all.
Pop was one of the earlier titles revealed for WiiWare, and it's also one of the first games available for the service. Priced at 700 Wii Points and downloadable via the Wii Shop Channel, the game tasks players with a simple mechanic: clicking on overlapping bubbles to pop them and score points. Developers hope this "gives anyone the ability to jump in and start popping straight away."
