From summer 2009, each of the new episodes in the trilogy will be released sequentially.

Early last week, Apogee Software and Deep Silver announced that they would be bringing a brand new game series titled Duke Nukem Trilogy to the DS in the early summer months of next year. The trilogy is comprised of three completely new episodes, Critical Mass, Chain Reaction, and Proving Grounds.

No other details have been provided, so it is currently not clear whether or not the games will feature the more recent 3D presentation of Duke or the classic side scrolling gameplay in the original Duke titles.

Saw the 'trailer', if you can call it that. The classic samples from Duke Nukem 3d were a welcome audio treat, but that was it. I'm sure who ever made the trailer is smiling ear to ear, realizing they just made easy money...
