It looks like Mario Advance won't make the GBA luanch, but Mario Kart will...
From NCSX comes an interesting report that Mario Kart Advance has replaced Mario Advance in the GBA launch. The Matrix is coming to multiple, but unspecified next-gen platforms. It's to be developed by Shiny and published by Interplay.
IGNcube published a story today on yet another next-gen game using a popular license. Did everyone forget how to be original all of a sudden? No matter. You need a GBA import? Here's the info you need.
If you're planning on nabbin' an import GBA on March 21(-ish), now is the time to make sure you have your pre-order in. Yes, it still seems like you will need to get at least one game with your GBA. No biggie.
Right now, as I can see online, you have 2 options. Buy-Rite, and National Console Support. If you know of any other deals out there...feel free to e-mail me, or jump in the talk back. So who has the better price?

Another false delay rumor from Daily Radar and the first rumblings of a big Nintendo project.
Today, Daily Radar reported on an interview conducted with Nintendo's immortal leader, Hiroshi Yamauchi (conducted by Video Senki). The writer accidentally quoted the interview in a way that makes it appear as if Yamauchi is hinting at general development problems for GameCube games with a possible delay of the July launch in Japan.

Another Pokémon movie is slated to make millions for Nintendo in the Summer of 2001 (Japan).
Nintendo has announced the fifth movie in the Pokémon series: Pokémon: Serebei's Time Adventure (rough translation). The movie will open in Japan on July 7th. Of course, that's the same month that the GameCube is scheduled to launch in Japan. July looks to be a very good month for Nintendo and Nintendo fans alike, in Japan anyway.

La Femme Nikita is coming to "multiple next-generation consoles" with team based coop play to boot.
Infogrames, through a licensing agreement with Warner Bros., will release a La Femme Nikita game for multiple next-gen platforms. Players will be able to play as either Nikita or Michael (a member of an antiterrorist group). The designers intend to integrate action and cooperative team play over the course of multiple missions.

Congrats goes out to our Aussie correspondant Kosta Andreadis for getting on the staff of the Austrailan Mag, N64 Gamer. Not that you can pick it up here in the US...but if you are one of people down under make sure you snag copies of the January 2000 and the February 2000 issues to read his fine work.
