Could it be that the limbless one is breaking out of his traditional platformer-only mold?
Consoles France has the goods for Ubi Soft's new Rayman title that looks like it will be attempting to break out of its normal genre. A little bit of multi-player madness perhaps? Seems that's what is in store. Head on over to Consoles France for the first pics of this title (even if they're a bit blurry).

The classic PC games are confirmed for GameCube and GBA, along with a couple of details on each version.
N-Nation (not the same as NintendoNation) scored a nice little interview with Lisa de Araujo of Creature Labs, and here's what she had to say:

And lo, a collective whine around the world was heard...
Evidently Reuters has screwed up in their translation and instead of the GC being moved up one month, it is still set for October.
In TOKYO story on Wednesday headlined ``Nintendo unveils new game system for next Game Boy'' please read in last
paragraph....an October release in the United States....instead of....a September release in the United States (Company corrects period).

Okay, how much GBA news can you handle? Yes you know that the system will launch in the U.S. on June 11, 2001 for $99.95 in the same 3 colors (with different names) as in Japan...but how about the fact that games will retail between $29.95 and $39.95 (which is about what was expected).
