More bad news for IGN, as The Register reports that 33% staff cuts and a NASDAQ delisting are imminent. Rick has more ...

In the .com day and age, nothing can be worse than having your company get "delisted" from NASDAQ. Yet that same fate is about to befall Snowball, the parent of IGN, HighSchoolAlumni, and ChickClick.

According to NASDAQ regulations, when your stock trades below $1 for a period of time, NASDAQ can remove your stock from the index, or "delist" the company. Sure enough, Snowball has been trading under a dollar for some time now.

Along with this news is the fact that Snowball plans on cutting 55 people from it's staff ... roughly a third.
