Details on Hudson's upcoming WiiWare release are unveiled, but no official date has been announced.
Adventure Island: The Beginning is the newest game in Hudson's long-running franchise that hasn't seen a release since 1995. As series star Master Higgins, players traverse through many stages across the island. EA will bundle Nintendo's new peripheral with Tiger Woods in America, and Tiger Woods and Grand Slam Tennis in Europe.

With Metroid Prime 2 and Chibi Robo set for a Japanese release in June, the first New Play Control lineup is complete
At last year's Fall Conference, Nintendo announced that they would be releasing GameCube games with Wii controls at a budget price. The games were placed under the New Play Control banner. The first games in the series were released in Japan in late 2008 and will be completed on June 11 when Metroid Prime 2 and Chibi Robo hit stores.

Nintendo brings two more to the growing DSiWare service alongside the awaited Crystal Defenders R1 from Square Enix and yet another Wonder Boy title.
This week, Nintendo offers up two titles for DSiWare while Square Enix delivers Crystal Defenders R1 for WiiWare and Sega brings Wonder Boy III to the Virtual Console.

Horror movie series known as "Ju-On" in Japan is set to frighten Wii owners.
AQ Interactive has announced that it is creating Kyoufu Taikan Ju-On (Feel Fear: Ju-On) for Wii. The Ju-On movies are known to Western audiences as "The Grudge". Takashi Shimizu, creator of the original Ju-On films, has been retained as an adviser and director for the game, which will explore the origins of the "curse" in the films.

With Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen rolling out across several different platforms including Wii and DS, the official website for the game has gone live. Users can choose their own Transformers theme for their profile, as well as view screenshots, concept art, and trailers. This week only has four game releases that include the long-awaited Samurai Shodown Anthology and two DS games from Atlus. Steely Dan and Guns N' Roses appear on the DLC for GH:WT and Rock Band 2, respectively.

Rockstar's Social Club website to allow users to earn money on the web and transfer it to the DS game.
As observed by MTV's Multiplayer blog last week, Rockstar's recent DS game, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will interact with flash games on the developer's Social Club community website. The Social Club currently allows users to upload statistics from the DS game in order to track them online, but this new functionality expands such interactivity considerably.
