Game Boy Advance

Moto GP

THQ is continuing its GBA support with a new racing game: Moto GP Advance. Though the game will only have 20 tracks, MGPA will include bikes from 12 real manufacturers such as Honda, Suzuki, Aprilia and Yamaha. Championships will take place on three different levles: 125cc, 250cc and 500cc. If the engine sizes are any indication, handheld bikers will be in for some extreme speeds! But perhaps the most exciting aspect of the game is its four-player support; something not included in most GBA realistic racers. There is no information on 1-cart play yet.

Though it may look different from its PS2 counterpart, Moto GP Advance features lush and varied backgrounds. Strangely, Namco seems to be intentionally making the track hazy in the distance, making it hard to plan ahead. The graphics have a very arcade feel, as the sides are somewhat barren (at least for now). No release dates have been announced yet, but the game seems to be coming along nicely.
