Topic: Great Series that need to be re-made or ported

Skate and Die annoyed me very much. I think it gave me bowel cancer. Actually, you know what would rock as a 2.5 update on GameCube? Toobin'. Have the same top down perspective and everything, just 3D up the joint and things. Add four player support, have a MOON level or something and the same voice samples. Midway would have an absolute winner.

I agree there. That WOULD be a winner. You know what pisses me off though? Advance Wars, though it's not being remade, just having the series ported to GC, is terrible. I loved the turn-based style and strategy of it all. The GBA has lost one of its best games. AW was not meant for real-time fighting, as Ninty has already decided for its fate on the GC. I hate the game designers for ruining a perfectly good thing.

I love advanced wars and i thought it was great they were bringing it to the GC.  But there changing the whole game and that stinks.  Its like calling a game madden and it being a hockey game.  If there making a RTS on the GC use the Wars name if not pick a different name, and dont kill the series.

All these are great games, and i would like to see them remade, but their are two more that come to my mind, the first one being Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES). I used to really like this game and it would be a great game to play with friends (it was 2 player on the snes but more characters could be added to make it 4 player), This is the only game I know of that you shoot zombies with water guns.  The other game I Would like to see is Lost Vikings (SNES).  This was a game where you played as 3 vikings who get abducted by aliens, this was again a great 2 player game.  They did do a sequal to this game but it was on the playstation and did not do very well, so if they ever do come back (thats a big if) they probably would not be on nintendo again.

It did. It's a very good port, too. Plus it's budget priced! Hurray!

Equinox could do with a remake.  I never did finish the original. Damn puzzles! Grrrr.
Imagine how that would play now with proper 3D graphics.
